So look around a little. Put up a sign at your local Suzuki/Honda/Yamaha/Kawabungi dealership saying you are looking for an older Savage. I found this one because three years ago I put a note on it asking the owner to call me if he ever wanted to sell it. Ask your local dealer to check the dealership network and see if anyone has taken an old Savage as a trade-in. If he isn't too cooperative, check the yellow pages and call all the dealerships within 250 miles of you.
Use your imagination. I'm sure you can come up with better ideas than these.
